Spotting

Hi,
This is my first baby and I am so anxious! I had my last period 25th September so estimated I am around 10 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I had some bleeding (brown when wiped, sorry tmi) and had an early scan. They estimated I am 5+4 but could see baby's heartbeat. How normal is spotting early on? I'm so scared that this means I'm going to miscarry. Thanks xx

Yep. I had a brown mucusy type spotting when i wiped between 5-6 weeks. It could be implantation bleeding, its common x

I had 3 spotting episodes with my second baby. It was so scary at the time but it all turned out fine. It seems it's quite common.
