Would love some buddies. I made some incredible friends on here with my last pregnancy and we still all chat on FB messenger after nearly 3 years :)

Due number 2 around the 8 July next year.

@feedmeseymour13 it is scary but it’s great too. I have never done something that exhausted me totally while making feel so happy 😆 Aww how nice! Exciting to start 2020 with!

thanks @CL1982 x @feedmeseymour13 yay same due date. Glad someone else is also nervous!! I wish my scan was that early. Mines 8th Jan!

MrsBudd · 09/12/2019 08:24

I haven't had my scan date yet, booking appointment this week so hoping I'll find out soon... The wait for the first scan is a strange time isn't it... Positive pregnancy test (or about five in my case 😂) but nothing to show for it apart from feeling awful!

feedmeseymour13 · 09/12/2019 10:48

@CL1982...I look forward to being happily exhausted then Grin next Christmas will definitely be a lot different to this one!

@PoChoo, cool we are due date buddies! Smile I’m going through the “what if’s” stage at the moment...still in shock that it’s actually happening and need to chill a bit. With your scan in January you’ll have something to keep you going over Christmas, and January tends to be a bit dull anyway. It will make it more eventful!

It’s safer to wait until after the scan isn’t it to tell family?

PoChoo · 09/12/2019 19:41

@feedmeseymour13 yay! Yes very much the same. I'm constantly doing the touch wood when we talk about it. Yes, funny enough that's mine and my husband's birthday in January so not quite as dull but would very much appreciate a summer birthday to celebrate!! I have to say we did IVF so we had a scan at the clinic and I'm so impatient I was thinking of going for a private scan a few days before sharing. But I may still get nervous and hold off. It's quite nice having a little secret...minus the forum chat Hmm

PoChoo · 09/12/2019 19:43

@MrsBudd yes it's quite a strange wait. After our booking appt, our scan letter came through literally 7 days later. I was worried we weren't going to receive it! And don't worry, I did 8 tests hahaha gets expensive eh? Most were £1 shop jobs to be fair. Grin

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 09/12/2019 19:54

I'm due 11th July, can I join?

retrogenius · 09/12/2019 23:39

I'm due around 19th July, would love some friends aha !!

SammyPage · 10/12/2019 11:22

I'm due 2nd July first time I have already had a scan at 9+1 and got another booked for 23rd Dec. How's everyone feeling my morning sickness seems to be subsiding I have had really bad sickness and headaches

PoChoo · 10/12/2019 15:58

@Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly of course. Hi @retrogenius! @SammyPage I had nausea right at the beginning but none since. My family say that means it's a boy! Have you tried finger it's? Or I suppose gingerbread at this time of year!Xmas Wink

SammyPage · 11/12/2019 08:44

@PoChoo I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and we tried everything for my sickness. This week has been the first I haven't been sick just a gag when I have little whiffs of smells. We was trying to conceive for over a year so each day closer to our second trimester is a blessing. We are trying to keep it a secret until Christmas day but I feel like I'm starting to show already. Hope everyone is feeling okay this morning and we are all another day closer Cake

Rhiandrath · 11/12/2019 09:52

I'm due on 23 July. First baby and completely unplanned! Happy but still having lots of mixed emotions and worries :)

squirrelnutkins1 · 11/12/2019 09:56

I'm due end of July. Totally terrified and worrying about every twinge and pain!
Got my booking appt next week and paying for a private scan the week after when I'll be 8+4.
I had a mc earlier in the year so I'm very nervous but I def feel different this time.
Here's hoping we finally get to have a baby!

MrsBudd · 12/12/2019 18:23

How's everyone feeling? I'm 8+1 today and still feeling so queasy. Had my booking appointment and just waiting for scan date letter to come through. Hoping the nausea goes away soon, its horrible and I definitely didn't feel this bad when pregnant with DS! 🤦🏻‍♀️

JuneBaby20 · 12/12/2019 20:15

It will definitely get better ☺️ i personally felt very ill when I was 8 weeks. Now I’m 12 weeks and I feel like myself again!! 😀

I got my scan Monday and you guys won’t believe how scared and excited I am about it. 😬

SammyPage · 13/12/2019 14:39

I'm 11+1 today and yesterday couldn't even get out of bed I'm shocked haven't felt that rough for a few weeks. Seems like I have a 24 hour belt of sickness and a good few days off. I had a scan when we was 9+1 so have another scan 23rd Dec what I feel super lucky about reading comments seems like people are waiting along time for their scans. I'm super excited for this one as we are you going to tell our family and friends Christmas day. Has everyone else been keeping it a secret or just can't help theirselves?

MrsBudd · 13/12/2019 15:59

Hope you're feeling better for the weekend Sammy.
We have just told close family and a couple of my closest friends. Mainly because I feel and look like crap! So didn't think would be able to hide it. I don't think we will tell anyone else until we have the scan though.

Notawalker · 13/12/2019 21:20

Hi, I've just been to docs today to get the ball rolling my estimated date is the 31st, this will be my first baby and I'm so excited just can't get over how tired I am at the moment I am hoping this will pass soon.

MrsBudd · 14/12/2019 10:43

Congratulations notawalker, exciting times 😊 the tiredness certainly takes some getting used to. I know I was tired first time around and I am this time, but I feel so much worse. Probably because I have a toddler to keep entertained too 😂
Luckily I'm able to have a rest this morning while DH looks after DS, however I have a pile of work I need to do (self employed) which I really want to finish today. Don't really feel like it... Hence why I'm on MN 😂

Notawalker · 16/12/2019 13:37

Thanks @MrsBudd I hope the tiredness passes for you soon x
I've just spoke with the midwife and I have a appointment 3rd of Jan so I need to request the time off work 🙄 (don't think I'd be able to book it as holiday either due to work commitments in place at start of the month) no one knows about our pregnancy yet expect me and my DP I need to have the conversation with her either tomorrow or Wednesday as she then breaks up for Christmas I'm not gonna lie I'm absolutely bricking it 😂😂 I know she will be over the moon for me but I got it in to my head that I wouldn't tell work until after my 1st scan oh well 🤷

MooChops89 · 16/12/2019 17:51

Hi everyone, I'm due 2nd July with my second baby, have a DD who is 19 months old. My dating scan is a week today on 23rd, can't wait! We will be telling everyone on xmas day all being well, a couple of close friends know so far and I've told my managers at work as I have quite a physical job, but that's it! Still doesn't feel real!

toomuchteaandcake · 16/12/2019 18:21

Hi all, FTM here due 6 July. 12 week scan on Thursday, I'm feeling so anxious today!

How did your scan go @JuneBaby20 ?

SammyPage · 17/12/2019 09:29

@MooChops89 we have the same due date as well as scan date I have already been for a scan when I was 9+1 how are you feeling?

EllieDeer · 17/12/2019 12:10

hey 👋 brand new here and this is my very first post - so glad i stumbled across this board! first buba, due around 12 July (scan on 2 Jan). i'm going to have a read through all the comments here as this is all so new and exciting but also slightly terrifying ha! i had no idea we'd already need to be thinking about where to give birth.. what things hospitals/facilities-wise should i be thinking about? arghh. Xxx

MrsBudd · 17/12/2019 12:32

Hi Ellie! Congratulations on your pregnancy. So exciting 🥰
Have you had your booking appointment yet? Your midwife will talk you through lots of stuff then, including where you might like to have your baby. You don't have to make any decisions just yet though (although chances are pregnancy will fly by and your baby will be here before you know it! Eek!)
I'm due 22nd July, have had my booking appointment but not letter about my scan yet. Getting impatient 😂
