Do you plan on inducing labour naturally?

Hi ladies,

Do you have any plans on inducing your own labour naturally? Or have you done it before and found something to have worked? If so, what do you plan on using or have you used?

First baby I tried (as I had gestational diabetes, wasn’t allowed to go overdue and wanted to avoid induction). Had two sweeps, didn’t work, was induced.

Baby 2 I had a course of acupuncture (same reasons as above) and that worked. Obviously I can’t know if I would have gone into labour then anyway, but I believe it worked.

Now pregnant with baby 3. No GD this time = can go overdue, so won’t be doing anything to hurry things along.

I plan to walk a lot from 38 weeks. No idea if it will help though.

With dd from 38 weeks I tried everything... and I mean everything!

I was walking 1/2 miles a day, constant ball bouncing, squats, hot curries, lots of dtd literally everything!!

1 week overdue had a sweep and then she arrived 10 days overdue

I honestly believe they just come when there ready or evicted 😂
