Hi ladies looking for some advice.
I lost my first baby roughly 6 months ago at 11 and half weeks pregnant.
Im currently 11 weeks today today and a scan 3 weeks ago confirmed it to be twins.
I had a fall yesterday and slipped on some ice. This morning ive had some cramps and a bit of spotting. I went to get checked over at the hospital and they felt my tummy and checked my womb and said everythings fine as my womb is still closed and theres no blood as the spotting stopped.
Ive got to wait until next thursday afternoon for my 12 week scan.
Im still feeling slightly worried and anxious mainly because of the previous miscarriage. Would itbe worth paying the £40 for a private scan i can get tomorrow or best to wait out the week for the 12 week scan next thursday.

Firstly, I'm sorry for your first loss.
I think it's up to you, if you can afford the £40 and it would make you feel better to have the scan then I definitely do it. If you can't afford it then wait until your 12 week scan if you can.

Like pp said if you can afford the scan I’d do it to put your mind at ease, otherwise you’re just going to be worried sick until the next scan. Hope everything is well 💐 Also, it wouldn’t be a waste of money anyways as you get another look at your beautiful baby and who doesn’t want that.

I'd highly recommend the private scan. You can't put a price on peace of mind. I hope everything is OK x
