28 week growth scan what did yours estimate at

Just got back from my growth scan and shes estimated to be 3lb 8oz I know these arent always accurate but out of interest what was your estimated at and how big when they were born?

25 wk growth scan est weight 2lb
28+5 growth Scan est weight 3lb 40z
30+5 growth scan est weight 4lb 2oz

Got another scan at 34+3 x

34+5 on Monday

I'm having growth scans owing to my BMI, genetic risk of diabetes and mental health. Baby is showing as on the 95th percentile but my waters are on the 50th, we've discussed being induced a little bit early and I think we're making a plan on Monday when I see the consultant after the scan.

Born 39 weeks 7lb 2 !
I was told they're often not accurate
He was very long though just not as heavy as predicted

They are SOOOOOOOO inaccurate! Honestly a consultant told me they can usually tell it’s a small baby but they really struggle to tell if it’s a ‘big’ baby. My daughter is a good case in point. I was told she was a totally normal size. She was 10lbs 😳 My friend was told her son was huge. He was 8lbs.

Consultant is reluctant to intervene before 38 weeks (New Year's Day) which is fair enough. Am going to the diabetic clinic this morning as I'm drinking lots more than normal and we just want to rule out developing gestational diabetes. If (big if) it does turn out I have it then we may look at a bit earlier...

To add to my previous point, I have borderline GD! My fasting readings are a little high but post food ones are absolutely fine. Am now taking evening insulin injections to try and bring it down but in any case yesterday we booked an induction for the 2nd Jan! I'll be 38+1 then and do have another growth scan on Christmas Eve, if baby has had a significant growth spurt then they may bring it forward a few days.

I have my first growth scan this Friday and I will be 28+3 , having 4 weekly scans because DD was on the small side when she was born 6lb 14 (which I assumed was normal).

I also have low Papp-A and I think that can contribute to a smaller baby. Will report back!

Is anyone else having growth scans to measure a small baby?
