Hey ladies
I’m 6 weeks pregnant feeling very blessed my first pregnancy. I’m 31 and am fit and healthy prior to getting pregnant. I’m feeling nauseous mornings and evenings however only way to tackle this is to eat. A lot. Constant. Also I look very bloated and am suffering from constipation 😔 . Is it normal to be this hungry and extremely bloated? Thanks ladies xx

Hi it is completely common and normal! You are growing a baby so need to eat and I bloated so much people thought I had a bump already! I struggled to hide my pregnancy really early on because of this

Orlafitz · 05/12/2019 14:47

Meshy12 thanks for your reply. I seem to only feel ok when I’m eating. Lots of bread and snacks. I’ve put on 6lb in weight. Have private scan next Sunday to see how far I am . Lmp 23 October.
Did the bloating calm as you progressed ?

Totally normal! Some weight gain will be water retention. I found it help to have lots of healthy snacks to hand and then I grazed constantly. Don’t forget to drink lots too-easy to mistake thirst for hunger.

I was the same but felt that it eased off slightly in my second trimester. I was worried that by the end of my pregnancy i would be like a beached whale lol.

I'm 6 weeks too (LMP also 23 Oct) ...I bloat really bad in the evenings, no matter what I eat. I have nausea and food aversions but eating doesn't seem appealling at the moment. Also constipated. Lost 2 lbs this week but feel like I've gained 10 Confused

Thanks ladies. Feeling tired too so plenty of naps. Struggling to be bothered with any exercise etc. Feeling very grateful excited for scan and getting some energy back.

Yep. All i wanted to do was eat and sleep. Just try to eat healthy and rest as much as possible.

I ate my way through all of my morning sickness, I think it's quite yet common and eating really did help, take care Smile

mywrencalls · 05/12/2019 16:30

@Orlafitz I am eating really healthily (brown rice, veggies, eggs, not many carbs etc) and still bloating really bad in the evenings regardless Hmm

I am also 6 weeks pregnant. And I'm also very hungry!! And simultaneously nauseous! However I have the opposite problem to constipation - I keeping having to rush to the loo Blush

This is my third pregnancy and the other two were exactly the same.

I think this is all entirely normal OP.

MrsBudd · 05/12/2019 16:37
