Blood red "moles" appearing during pregnancy?

Hi

I have 2 very blood red moles which have appeared on my bump during preg. They could be blood blisters, I'm not sure. Has anyone else got these and what are they? Should I be worried?

Thanks

Are they really little? I've got a few of these. TBH, I had a few before I got pregnant but I've definitely developed a few new ones in pregnancy. I've got some of those little spider vein things too. Not sure if it's to do with the skin stretching or the increased amount of blood pumping round your system. Maybe mention in to your doctor or midwife next time you go if you're worried?

thanks missbumpy. They are small. I have lots of spider veins on my legs as well. I get a few more each preg.

Hmm, I was hoping the spider vein thingies would go away after pg but from what you say it sounds like they're here to stay

I think my little red mole things come and go. Maybe it's just that sometimes I forget they're there and then I notice them again

Think they're called cherry angiomas and sorry to disillusion you, but they come with age . Mainly. I got loads after ds2 (had 2 boys close together) so got them checked out. Totally harmless, you can have them removed if they bother you.

I think you might have Campbell de Morgan spots, harmless but they don't go away unfortunately.

Sorry cross post with alipiggie, same thing just a different name.

Really? They come with age? I'm sure I've had mine since I was a teenager. I seem to have a few in really sensitive areas like where my bra is tight against my skin. I always assumed it was just to do with the skin getting pinched or something. Just goes to show how little I know!

I got blood blister like things on my..er..'minky' last pregnancy. They never went, and I haven't looked this time if there are more.

I guess old age and no 3 preg are taking there toil ! Thanks everyone.
