3lbs already?!

28+4 and my baby is showing 3lbs already. We have another scan on December 31st... arghhhh!!!

at my 28+2 scan = 3lb 1oz
had my 32+2 scan yesterday = 4lb 11oz
their not concerned.
got 36 week scan new years eve like you. :-)

I was never told baby's weight through whole pregnancy. Whenever I asked, they said they can't really tell. Probably a good thing as she ended up 9lbs 9oz

At my 28 wk growth scan baby was 3lb + at 30wk he was 4lb 4oz god knows what he's going to be at my next one but he's measuring on top lines x

@CountYourRoosters you only get told at growth scans and they are estimated anyway and can be out... 9lb 9 is a, decent size my 2nd was 9lb 8 :)

@CountYourRoosters I only know because I'm having growth scans due to a risk of her being small. I'd rather not know if I'm honest lol!

At 28 weeks mine was 3.5lbs on growth scan and off the chart! Have a scan in a week at 32 weeks to see how much he's grown 😬

32 week scan 5lb 11oz

I have my 35 week scan on Monday and will be booking my induction for 38 weeks where they anticipate he’ll be around 9lbs I wouldn’t worry about 3lbs

@Missmonkeypenny slightly jealous you'll be seeing your baby soon, I can't wait!

At the 28+5 scan baby measured 3lb 9, at 31+5 they measured 4lb 14, I've got another one on Monday so we'll see! This puts baby on the 95th percentile and as someone who's 5ft I genuinely am dreading what size they come out at!
I'm also seeing the consultant on Monday to chat through early induction options - not just weight concerns but SPD too. Ideally would like to go for the 30th Dec as they'll be 37+5 and still an 8lb something baby but we'll see. She did say they would induce on Christmas Day (37) or New Year's Day (38) as there'll be less staff about and we were hoping to still manage 2 nights in the Lakes from boxing day (30 mins from big hospital and I know a local midwife!).
