Sorry if this is repetitive but having looked through advanced search i can only find old threads or threads talking about vitamins making them nauseous!
Had my booking in appt yesterday with midwife who asked if i was taking any vitamins, i said no just folic acid. She said it is recommended you take Vitamin D as well 10 mcg and you should look at Pregnancy vitamins. Well i have looked but there seems to be so many and they all seem to contain slightly different things. I was thinking of calling her and saying sorry i have got a bit confused should i just carry on with the FA and get some Vit D or do i need to scrap these for a vitamin and if so which ones but before i waste her time does anyone have any advice/ info on what they were told about what i actually need to take?

NHS just advises vitamin d and folic acid so I'd maybe just buy some vitamin d or a cheaper version of pregnacare

My GP recommended Pregnacare. I ordered the original one last night on Amazon.

I have seen threads on here about issues with pregnacare. There are probably cheaper versions or just add in vitamin d

There is a great book by Rebecca Fett called 'Brain Health from Birth' , you can pick it up from Amazon. She has included the latest research on fetal development and based on that I'm taking a few extra supplements on top of Folate and Vitamin D.
