Weaning off prednisolone- feeling rough!

I'm 13 weeks pregnant, had some mild sickness on and off so far and have a bit of a cold this week, glands are up and I'm snotty which is triggering my gag reflex.

On top of this I'm weaning off pred (it's an IVF pregnancy and I've been on it since egg collection). Was on 20mg/day, went to 15 for four days, then 10, now on 5 and finishing tomorrow but I feel fucking awful! Been so sick the last week, but in particular last 24 hours. Had to come home from work yesterday as was vomming in the toilets repeatedly and ended up crying at my desk

Anyone else been through this and can give me any indication of how long it'll will last? Can't work out if I have a cold or if that's withdrawal symptoms too (exhausted, achey etc).

I've been on and off Pred for years. Not due to pregnancy but because of a autoimmune disease.... The feeling is rough and I can imagine you are feeling the side effects of your pregnancy as well.

My best advice is to rest as much as possible and try and stay healthy ! ride it out.

Thanks! It's hard to tell what is pregnancy and what is drugs (I'm on a lot due to lots of failed IVF and miscarriages). This is the first time I've used a higher dose of pred (have done 5mg before) and I've been so ANGRY while I've been on it and now coming off it is proving pretty horrendous. Hoping this baby sticks around and it is all worth it in the end 🤞

I was on hydroclopromide IV twice a day for a week and then 3 weeks of prednisolone tablets starting at 30mg weaning down to 5mg. Within 24 hours of stopping them I was non stop vomiting not able to hold even water down. They had to repeat this again and I was ok after this. I'm still on anti sickness but finally stopped vomiting. This was from 12-18 weeks of pregnancy for hyperemesis. The only way to control my vomiting.
I'm now 23 weeks. I reckon you may need to be put back on them for a bit longer.
