Hello everyone..
I am new here. I wanted to ask you guys something that I got a good news that I AM PREGNANT on 16-10-19 then my doctor did ultrasound they found that I have 4+- weeks then after 1 week of my checkup I started spotting on 24-10-19 I went in emergency doctor said you got miscarriaged. I bleed 9 days then today I checked on strip those 2 faint lines. Can you guys tell me is this normal to become pregnant after miscarriage?

Hi @Insi

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's important that you are able to distinguish if this is left over hormones from the lost pregnancy or a new pregnancy. Did you take a test after miscarriage to make sure it was negative? It's possible it could be a new pregnancy however as I miscarries 4th October and found out I was pregnant again 5th November. Had a scan and am now just over 7 weeks. You should make an appointment with your Dr to have HCG blood levels checked as this will confirm if it's a new pregnancy Thanks

I went through this... not to give you false hope but I had a big bleed thought I was having a miscarriage but then did a pregnancy test 2weeks later and it was still showing a strong positive. Went to the epu they did a scan that showed my baby was fine with a good heartbeat. So my advice would be go back to the epu and get a scan. Good luck

Thank you so much @mumof1babe and @Flukz1988. No I don't take a test after miscarriage. But I did ultrasound on the day of bleeding so doctor said "no pregnancy is here you are fine now" . Is Beta HCG test is OK for confirmation of pregnancy??

Hi, there are one of three things that could have happened here. Either you have left over hormone from your miscarriage it took me 6 weeks after my miscarriage to get a negative result again. Or it could well be a new pregnancy, I have read a lot about other ladies conceiving straight after so it’s not impossible. The other thing could be that you are still pregnant and they have misdiagnosed the miscarriage like one of the other ladies said. I hope it works out well for you. You never stop worrying after a miscarriage even when you do conceive again it’s a constant worry but there is always hope and prayer ✨
