Faint lines on Asda pregnancy test

Hi girls. New to this. I was due my period on Monday and took an Asda pregnancy test which showed a faint positive line. I have since then taken another two and they also have faint positive lines. What are your experiences with these tests? I am going to get a clear blue today but just trying not to get my hopes up.

I wanted to upload a pic but can't until I've been a member for 48 hours.

Thanks in advance x

A faint line is a line IME.

My "faint line" is off at school right now :)

I'd bet good money you're pregnant. Is that the result you're hoping for?

Yes it is, I just can't believe it!

I have just read some bad reviews about the asda own pregnancy test so still feel like they may be dud even though i've taken 3!!

Thanks for your reply :)

I start with a cheap test then when I’m fairly certain go get a clear blue for the digital reassurance Grin

Congratulations!

Definitely a positive! 😊 I didn't get a strong line til week 7 - now 38 weeks along. Congratulations!

I've had both experiences with these tests...
When I've been pregnant the lines are clear as day. When I havnt been pregnant I've had faint lines.. I would get a frer test tbh being only 3 days late the CB digital may not show up a pregnant sign yet. X

I used the strips from poundland and they have always been accurate about 3 days before period was due.

The lines are clearly visible just not as dark as the other line. I wish I could upload pic so yous could comment what you think! x

I just have no experience with faint lines at all, have only ever had negative so a bit confused! x

My faint line on an Asda pregnancy test... it was even lighter than that the day before to the point my partner couldn’t see it 😂 I’m now 9 weeks. Fingers crossed for you x

@alxxxxx they don't need to be as dark as the other line. Just aslong as there is a 2nd line then your deffinately pregnant :) xx

alxxxxx · 04/12/2019 13:46

@Siobhan1989 oh mine is a little darker than that! Thank you for the reference :)

Thanks @Boymummy3 for the help I really appreciate it :)

xx

Clear blue digital are a marketing ploy, they're not any more sensitive, they just put it in writing.

If you have a line and it's darker even than Siobhan's, you're pregnant, congratulations!!

Siobhan1989 · 04/12/2019 15:08

Yeah you’re pregnant!! Congrats xx

Keha · 04/12/2019 15:15

I used an asda one and got a faint line. Then Googled some things which said they weren't reliable. Did a clear blue, also positive. Now 6 months pregnant. From what you say you are pregnant, congratulations!!

Siobhan1989 · 04/12/2019 16:02

I personally preferred this Asda one to first response! I got that line really early!

Hi girls, wondering if you could help me. I’m due on my period, although my periods are usually all over the place, they are anywhere in between 30-35 days, I’m on day 35 and no period so I took a take yesterday and a positive did not show straight away however after a few minutes I noticed a very faint line and wasn’t sure if it was evap or not, so I bought a pink dye today and noticed another faint line. I am so unsure on what is happening, are these evaps or faint positives??? I have pictures
