Hi i found out monday i was pregnant my test said 2-3 weeks witch is 4-5 weeks i have rang the gp they cannot get me into see the midwife till a couple of weeks i just want to know if everything is fine and doing well as i always worried things might happen just want reassurance thats all i havent been pregnant for 5 years and its scary haha can i go anywhere else for midwifes

@jade456 this is normal what your GP told you, you won't see midwife too early as there is no reason for seeing one earlier.

I had my booking appointment at 10 weeks.

If you have any bleeding or bad cramping, or difficulties to keep up fluids down, you are to contact your GP who can refer you to EPAU, or you can go to ER. Otherwise there isn't anything you need for the first trimester.

Take folic acid and vitamin D, read some info on the NHS website and that's all for now.

I didn't see anyone until 11 weeks - completely normal I'm afraid.

Deffinately normal and even if you did see someone now they wouldn't do anything for you to feel like everything is ok if that makes sence...
Your booking app is usually between weeks 8-10 depending when they fit you in and even then its just forms weight check etc. X
