Has anyone recently had their 12 weeks scan at the Ulster hospital? Do you know if they give you the blood test results on the day or by letter after?

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but I've got my 12 week scan and booking appointment in the Ulster at the end of the month and would really like to hear how other people got on and what I should expect.

Hi @toomuchteaandcake was your 20 week scan during Covid? I have mine in a few weeks and am wondering what it will be like. Do you know of they will agree to write down the sex as my husband obviously wont be allowed in?

No we had ours in February so didn't have this issue (and also didn't find out gender). Our sonographer was lovely though I would suspect she would do this for you no problem. I've been to hospital for my GTT since COVID and it felt very safe, social distancing maintained and lots of cleaning going on
