Hi ladies I've recently found out that im pregnant with my second child! There going to be 5 years nearly 6 years between them ! I'm roughly a size 16-20 ish I'm worried that I'm not going to have a nice bump and that I'm just going to look like Iv got fatter instead of being pregnant. I'm currently between 5-6 weeks.. long way to go yet

I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my second, my first child is 20 years old Smile I'm 37 and a size 12-14, I want to gain very minimal weight during this pregnancy and plan to do that by consistent healthy eating, long walks and swimming.
I've lost 2 lbs this week, mainly due to loss of appetite but bought a set of scales last week and decided to weigh myself everyday of this pregnancy. I want to keep track this time and not have too much to lose after my baby is born.
I think I've read that if you have a BMI over 30, you should gain no more than 7-11 lbs during your pregnancy, and it'd even be ok to not gain any weight at all.

Do you have a plan for your pregnancy? Good luck and congrats btw!

Speak with your midwife if your looking to loose weight about healthy eating/diets etcc slimming world is a good thing to follow you still eat good but in better ways...

I'll be totally honest my sil was pregnant with twins when I was having my 2nd she's a bigger woman 20stone+ and you couldn't tell she was pregnant at all... Not saying this is the case for yourself of course everyone carrys babies differently and bump Sizes are different etc.

But if it's something your really worried about as pp has said put a plan into place now for your pregnancy if your looking to not gain anymore weight it Is achievable xx

I'm about the same size as you op, didn't gain any weight during pregnancy but that was due to severe nausea throughout my pregnancy. I was back in my old clothes within 5 days.
I was also worried that I'd just look fatter but I did develop a round bump and didn't look pregnant from the back.
I found the new look maternity jeans were the best (cheap too!)

I'm a 16 normally. Almost 25 weeks with a nice bump and gained 11lb mostly gained within 2nd trimester I've been following slimming world in a fashion to minimise weight gain

I've just had my first and I'm wearing some pre-pregnancy clothes. I gained about a stone in total but DS was 10lb 10oz so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I also had a very straight forward pregnancy, none of the scary things they told me would happen because of my weight happened. I had/have SPD but that's not necessarily weight related. I also had a very obvious bump and I was about a size 20 when I fell pregnant.
