I’d try another test that isn’t clear blue, but other than taking a test there isn’t much you can do

Selfsettling3 · 03/12/2019 17:42

Buy a different brand pregnancy test. The internet cheap ones are the same as the dr ones. All a doctor would do is give you a pregnancy test. You don’t need to go to the doctors.

If you’re pregnant enough to have symptoms, especially movement, you’ll get a positive test. I’d trust that negative.

When was your last period? Are you late?

Boymummy3 · 03/12/2019 21:18

I would get seen to if your nipples are leaking?...
If your leaking and feeling movement I would say you would deffinately have a positive test as you would be rather far along..
As pp has said have u missed a period?
Also are you doing the CB digital tests properly for 4 to come up error that seems a bit odd. Try a frer test

I have been on the pill but hadn't been that great at remembering lately it dosent normaly give me a period except o got a random one a few months ago .. I read that hormone levels drop after 12 weeks an can be hard for a preg test to pick up dose the doctor not give a blood test to check ?

That’s a common misconception but it isn’t correct (except in very rare circumstances). If you’ve got a negative test, you’re not pregnant.

If you don’t want to be pregnant and forget to take the pill, you’re better off looking at another method of contraception.

By my second all the pregnancy tests came out negative - I was sure I was pregnant and eventually had a blood test. Turns out I was 7 weeks pregnant. He is 3 now.
Apparently it's the pill that can mess with tests - I was also just off the pill.

That’s not actually correct. The pill doesn’t affect pregnancy test’s ability to detect a pregnancy.

Rachel212 · 03/12/2019 22:57

Yea I have stopped taken the pill now anyways .. it's not that I'm not wanting to be pregnant if it happins then that's great we are happy married it's just being unsure I am not asking to be patronised purpledaisies I am not some young careless teenager ..

You could go see your gp and explain the situation they will prob do a urine test but you could ask for a blood test to be done not sure if they will or not though.. Hopefully you get some answers either way soon

AnxiousandExcited · 04/12/2019 09:12

The NHS are a bit stingy with blood tests nowadays. I was abroad so didn't have that issue...
My doctor told me that GP's have a quota of blood tests that they are allowed to prescribe per month, and after that it comes off his salary. That might only be in my area though.

Selfsettling3 · 04/12/2019 10:10

If your having unprotected sex then you are trying for a baby.

That is not true.
