Third trimester exhaustion

I'm currently 32 weeks and feel completely wiped out...its tiredness on a level I've never experienced before. I was quite tired in the first trimester but nothing like this...I'm still working but really struggling and as soon as I finish work I have nothing left and feel tearful about even having to wash my hair or make dinner because I just want to go to bed!

I'm usually very active so its frustrating when I don't feel on form and making me quite emotional. My blood tests have come back fine for iron etc so I'm guessing its just normal tiredness but never expected anything else like this. I'm self employed and was planning on working as late as possible but may have to re-think if this gets any worse!

Anyone else totally shattered?!

100% I’ve felt so tired the whole way through!! Never got that burst of energy everyone spoke about in the second trimester either Sad

I’m now 38 weeks and waiting for the “nesting” stage to kick in, but all I want to do is lie on the sofa and watch tv haha! I also cry at the thought of washing my hair! I’m just blaming the hormones!

Glad I'm not alone on the hair washing! I mean I was never a fan but its gone from a mild annoyance to the end of the world / how will I get through it type feeling! :D

I've recently been wondering how anyone has the energy for the whole labour / birth part....

No it’s such a chore!! I’m trying to keep on top of it just incase I go into labour! (I know thats ridiculous but it’s the only thing making me want to do it haha!)

Completely agree! I have not enjoyed being pregnant at all so I’m hoping adrenaline of getting the baby out will help!
