Hi all,
Looking for some advice. I found out last week that I am pregnant. (I already have a 8 year old boy), I think I'm around 5 weeks. But will not see the midwife untill 19th December! I am panicking like mad! I'm worrying that my baby won't have a heart beat. And today I'm getting slight stomach cramps not in one place but all over is this normal? It's been so long I can't remember with my son! My boobs are sore! Has anyone else experienced this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@kelsey1991 congratulations first of all, I can understand your anxiety and worry but please just try and relax, stay positive, I'm very sure you will hear a strong heart beat at your first app. If you are very worried about pains, symptoms you can always go to A&E and they will do what they can to ensure you and baby are ok. Good luck

Congratulations!! What beautiful Christmas news 💕💕💐 don’t worry, I know that is easily said as I don’t have a baby yet , currently TTC, but I am sure everything will be fine and anxiety can cause gastro pains etc . If you’re worried or have any other symptoms that worry you then you can visit A&E, as that’s a good reason to visit it’s not like it’s a silly worry. But good luck and huge congratulations again ! I’m sure your 8 YO will be very excited xx

I had absolutely no symptoms after my positive pregnancy test and had weeks to wait until my midwife appointment so I booked in for an early scan. Worth seeing if there's somewhere near you if you're worried. But please try not to worry - I know it's easy to say.

Hi Kelsey, congratulations! I found out that I am too, just at the weekend. :-) I've had mild cramping and I think this is normal. Totally relate to the heartbeat panic.. we're getting a 6 week scan next weekend and hoping for good news. Also going to scan at 7 weeks to compare the growth. Extra nerves as had a MC in August. Fingers crossed for both of us! Xx

Awe thank you all for your lovely words xx I’m keeping it quiet until I’ve had my scan so my little lad doesn't know yet!! I don’t no why I’m worrying so much! My cramps have gone now! Just very sore boobs & headache for now haha xxxx
