Hey,

I'm really struggling with nausea and just feeling crappy I feel so guilty that I can't take my 2 year old DS out and about as I would usually do. He gets so fed up in the house all day.

I'm trying to suck it up and get on with it but I'm so illEnvy anyone else? X

I had the same for the first 12 weeks. Poor DD just watched a lot of TV and I bought her some new toys so she could entertain herself a bit. Do you have family or friends who could take him out for a few hours so he can have a run around while you have a rest? Presumably you have a partner who could take him out at the weekend or whenever he's not working.

Hi @RhymingRabbit3 sorry to hear you has the same issue. I live a 40 min drive away from my family and friends.

My mum comes up once a week and my Mother in Law takes him on a Tuesday when I'm working. I've been off work for a while due to other health problems but I'm on the mend from them! (back in January.)

DP works Monday - Friday so takes him out when he can. I suppose it's only for a few more weeks just feel so bad for my DS.

I was really sick when I was pregnant with him but I had the luxury of staying in bed till I felt better at 23 weeks! Hopefully it doesn't last that long this time.

Are you still pregnant? X

Hi @JackGordonsMummy I've seen you on other posts recently, I actually googled about the mumguilt and this came up! I'm 7w + 2 days and suffering with nausea and extreme tiredness, my little boy is 3 and I just have no energy to play with him and take him to playgyms, to the park etc like usual! He's actually been really good, all be it a bit bored, but also feeling super guilty!!! No point to this other than you're not alone! I'm hoping we'll feel better in the 2nd trimester and we can give our babes the attention they deserve 💕

Hi @chlandy thanks for your reply I must of missed it the other day.

Aww it's awful isn't it. The nausea and tiredness is a killer. My little boy has felt with it well so far too think I'm just over thinking.

Will be worth it all in the end. In 7+2 today roll on the second trimester for us.

Hope you feel well soon x
