MRI pelvis in pregnancy

I need an MRI on my pelvis as I have a suspected fracture (I have a bone condition) but I am wary of having on in my second trimester.
Obviously I've looked online and there doesn't seem any conclusive evidence that it's harmful.
My main worry is that I've had numerous MRIs on my brain and it makes me feel really dizzy and unwell, and I'm worried if I have one on my pelvis I'd make the baby feel dizzy and unwell....
Has anyone had one? Did you experience any effects at all? X

I had one when heavily pregnant. They Gaffa taped lead aprons over my bump. I cried the whole time Grin

I had an MRI when I was 20+ weeks with dc1. Slightly different beause the clinical need was imaging of the baby not me (spina bifida) but I don't remember there being any discussion of particular risk to him.

I had an MRI at about 28 weeks with one of my pregnancies for baby. I don't remember being told any risks and don't think I felt any different.

But you can always ask and they should tell you the risks, etc.

I had an MRI on my spine at 28 weeks and was told there are no known risks to baby. It was just a bit uncomfortable being laid on my back. One of the technicians doing the MRI was also pregnant and very nice and reassuring.

Don't understand why lead aprons were gaffa taped to your bump Monstrance as MRI does not involve radiation at all. Sure you didn't have a CT scan which does involve XRays?

No harm for the baby with MRI at all.
