I'm 16 weeks pregnant and a size 16 and my jeans are starting to feel a little tight now, only on my waist. Can anyone suggest what shop to buy nice maternity jeans from please? I tried some on in New Look today, but they were Jeggings and I'm not a huge fan of them, especially as they don't flatter my stomach. TIA

There's a brand called bandia maternity that you can get on ASOS which were great for me

You may be able to pick up some bargains on Mothercare site, since they are closing down.E-bay is always good for maternity clothes too.

I bought ASOS own brand jeggings saw me through bought a few pairs in blue and black

I got mine from Topshop abs would recommend. Very comfy on the waist and don’t look cheap. They only sell maternity online now though, only downside.

I've bought some super flattering ones from Gap. Big discounts this weekend too

Firsttimemama2017 · 01/12/2019 19:43

I've just bought two pairs from h&m which are nice and comfortable

Lauren83 · 01/12/2019 19:45

I found H&M super skinny mama the best by far, soft denim keep their shape well too

bookgirl1982 · 01/12/2019 19:47

Gap, online only but lots of discount codes available

I found Asda over the bump ones were the only ones that really went up into plus sizes and we're comfy.

Glenpatrick · 02/12/2019 17:20

New look I found were rubbish, the belly band doesn’t stay up at all. Top shop Leigh are my favourite as they come in the various leg lengths like normal jeans do too

LolaSmiles · 02/12/2019 17:27

I've sworn by the H&M over bump skinnies.

Peacocks have a small selection of maternity wear which was very good. I had a lovely pair of black trousers from there

Next are good quality and the over the bump ones stay up well. Not a lot of choice though.
Asos have some good ones too.

Depends how much of a bump
You have. I tried loads of maternity jeans when my own ones were feeling tight. None of them stay up as I don’t have much of a bump. Just bought the next size up jeans in the sale. Problem solved

Caspianberg · 02/12/2019 20:36

I recommend Seraphine. Recently bought 2 pairs and they are under bump so work well with a smaller bump

WombatStewForTea · 02/12/2019 21:57

I've lived in my Asda ones for the last few months. They are quite slim legged though

xTinkerbell · 02/12/2019 23:31

I love my mothercare ones, 39 weeks and they still fit comfortably

SparkleUK · 03/12/2019 12:10

I have some New Look ones but wouldn't recommend them! They're too long in the leg (even though I'm 5'9/10), baggy in the leg and I constantly have to pull them up. Then, as they're black, for some reason the dye leaks onto my nails from pulling them up and I look like I need a wash 😂 so I can recommend NOT to get them

hunz · 03/12/2019 12:19

H&M over the bump jeans were the only ones I found didn't fall down.
But if you like dungarees the Jojo maman Bebe ones are amazing, however the black ones do fade quite quickly!
