Hi lovelies, this is my first pregnancy , I've found out I'm about 5-6 weeks. I am incredibly exhausted!! Like I have no energy what so ever! For instance Sunday is my day off work and I've just literally stayed in my bed with the tv on and one minute I'm wide awake really into something next minute I wake up like I've passed out! My partner keeps checking on me and says I'm asleep each time he checks, I just can't stop sleeping i feel I need to go back to sleep now! Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to help? I have taken pregnancy vitamins since I found out , I eat fruit and veg daily and drink plenty of water and squash throughout the day and have cups of tea (caffeine free) so I know my intake on food and drink isn't an issue.
Thank you x

Pretty normal In my case I was exhausted untill i got iron tablets around 28 weeks as found out I was anaemic. Not saying you need iron tablets but it can be pretty draining pregnancy even in the early stages x

Very normal. Im now 17 weeks and i still have odd ‘exhaustion days’ i call them. I remember between 6-12 weeks all i did was go to work (struggled while i was there) counted down the minutes, came home, bath and in bed by 7, and id be out for the count by 8pm, slept all through to the next day. I did this relentlessly every single day. Its normal, go with it. Rest as much as you can. Id say around 14 weeks you start to feel perky-er. Congratulations! Xx

Very normal I remember at 6 weeks always falling asleep on the sofa watching tv, going to bed bout 7/8pm, days off spent in bed. By second trimester I felt I had more energy but it is an exhausting time being pregnant and now I'm 39 weeks it's even worse. Just listen to your body and do what you need too.

Hello lovely. Congratulations, I am also 5+2 and this exhaustion is killing me! This whole weekend has been a wipe out as all I want to do is sleep. I have no idea how I’m going to make it through work tomorrow onwards.
I only found out that I was pregnant yesterday so no one at work knows yet.
