Vaginal swelling

Hi everyone I am only about 5 weeks pregnant and have had a lot of pressure down below- it feels as if my vagina is swelled up! Putting a cold compress gives me some relief/when I'm walking is fine but when I sit/lie down it's extremely heavy and painful. I got pregnant through ivf so not sure if it's all the blood flow/hormones together! I went to the clinic and they thought I had thrush but was tested for that and BV and both have come back negative! I will go back next week but just wondered if anyone had any ideas or what I can do to relieve the swelling/pressure as it's been making me nervous - by the way this is my first pregnancy Smile TIA x

I had this in my first pregnancy but nearer to the end, it was when i had a poo i think i was overstraining😬 it felt like my vagina was swollen and the insides were going to fall out🙈

Oh gosh I don't know why I'm getting it so early though? Has anyone else had it early on?

I've never really heard of anyone getting this in early pregnancy but instead later on as you can imaging the added weight/pressure.. If its really uncomfortable I would deffinately speak with someone again but it may not be pregnancy related x

It's probably pregnancy hormone related. Take it easy and definitely do your pelvic floor exercises. If it doesn't ease up mention it to your GP (I'm presuming you're not under the care of a midwife yet?)

Thanks everyone from looking online I may have vulvar verocities as I couldn't find any other explanation! Yes still with clinic so I'm going to go back next week just to double check! Will make sure I do the exercises!
