Due date the 9 January

I'm high risk due to depression and age - 39

Current weight of baby 2.3kg - my birth weight was 2.7kg and DP 2.9kg

35 weeks on Tuesday

A part of my mucus plug came out - it was very clear though but wobbly like a jellyfish

First pregnancy

I'm getting alot if Braxton hicks. Sometime most of the day. It's starting to make me feel like doing a poo

Head in right place seen on scan

She is slowing down movements alot

Period like cramps

Had alot more energy last few days

Blood pressure and sugar perfect and so is baby. Based on this do you think I will be early? I feel like I will be. But I haven't gone through this before so hard to know.

no idea, but have you had the change in movements checked? If not you need to call your midwife. The advice that movement slows as you get closer to full term is outdated. Any change of movement needs checking

Timmytoo · 30/11/2019 16:28

I'm going to clinic on Tuesday. She is doing some movements per hour. Just not continously like before.

18 December.

What do I get if I win? The baby? Grin

Timmytoo · 30/11/2019 16:30

I'm just so eager to meet her and finish the pregnancy that I keep wondering if today would be the day.

@IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory 😂😂😂 depends on the sleeping patterns 🤣

Grin

What sort of activity pattern is she having now? Quiet at night and active during the day?

Timmytoo · 30/11/2019 16:38

Yes. She's had that routine for a while now. She's never woken me up from kicks etc. When I wake up she doesn't move until about 7.45am when I'm on my way to work. Then it's non-stop till she sleeps at 4pm. She will awake at 7pm and go to sleep at 10ish at night.

My midwife is insistent that any change in movements is checked immediately. I really wouldn't wait until Tuesday unless you call your midwife and they advise this is fine

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 30/11/2019 16:47

Ooh that’s a good pattern!! I hope it sticks when she is out! Grin

I've had 4 babies and is almost impossible to judge when they'll come until labour starts proper having said that if you're getting the meeting a poo feeling can't see you're going to go til 9 January! Wouldn't be surprised if baby arrived before Christmas! Mine went 1st 41 weeks, 2nd 40+5 3rd 40+3 4th 40 exactly.

But is right what pp said if movement different or slowing down absolutely get it checked and don't let them fob you off. Better they think you're a worrier or pain in the arse than baby in danger.

PsychosonicCindy · 30/11/2019 16:52

Needing not meeting!

Boymummy3 · 30/11/2019 17:37

No one can say and unfortunately everything you have put doesn't exactly mean alot either my 1st came 9 days early my 2nd 1 day late so you never really no

Boymummy3 · 30/11/2019 17:38

And yes movements shouldn't change even in the slightest so you need to get them checked out before Tuesday

firstimemamma · 30/11/2019 17:42

Re. movements, you say you're going to the clinic on Tuesday but does anyone know about the reduced movements right now? Or when you go on Tuesday is that when you're going to first mention it? If so, I'd suggest phoning your maternity unit immediately and informing someone instead. With reduced movements it's always best to play it safe - a professional needs to know now and don't leave this until tues (apologies if they already know and I misunderstood your post).

Peachypips78 · 30/11/2019 17:55

More first babies are late than early or on time. I think it's always best to assume they will be a week late so you don't go mad with the waiting!
