So 39 + 5 second child today guys, not long returned home, doing my routinely night bath and I started having what I can only describe as tightenings coming and going lasting a few seconds each quite regular and I'm currently in the bath still experiencing them.
Are they tightenings, if anyone has seen my old threads I was induced and slept through my first labour so all this beginning stuff is fairly new to me!!
Any advice anything will do for a fed up mother who's ready to cave in hah!

I would get out the bath and have some paracetamol see if they ease off. Maybe give hospital a ring get some advice but time them too see how close the pains are and how often they come & go as they will ask you when you ring.
With my 2nd I got really strong period type pains coming and going really quickly.. I lasted about an hour/2 before I went to the hospital and they didn't even believe me how close together they was so quickly untill they seen me and realised I was in labour. Good luck xx

Haha I know I'm about to get out the bath just know that it can be a relaxing method sometimes lol!
I'm going to relax now on the sofa for the evening see how things happen, I've had BH for the last two weeks on and off constantly, so just the waiting game really! Went to midwife yesterday she's bobbed out of my pelvis, which I read your second doesn't always engage until labour is that right?

I had an extremely long labour with my first and this one may be a little chunk of love so I'm really unsure how it is going to pan out (as we all are)!
