First pregnancy, absolutely dreading 12 week scan I seem to have convinced myself something is wrong or nothing will be there, has anyone else has similar nerves leading up to their first appointment?

I was scared aswell. I'm a worrier but mine all turned out ok and I'm due in a couple if weeks.
I dont think its unusual to be nervous but try your best not to fixate on it like I did. Try and do something to take your mind off it like go out for a walk or do some activity with DP or catch up with friends.
I found that first scan amazing it made it all feel real. Hope you dont have too long to wait

It’s terrible it’s all I can think about! Thanks for the advice will definitely try not to fixate on it I’m already driving myself insane! Just 3 weeks to go however it seems like a lifetime! Congratulation and good luck!🙂

I found those first 12 weeks drag but my second and third trimester have flown. Soon you'll have a little baby I your arms and this feeling will be a distant memory. Flowers

I found that there was always something to worry about. 12 week scan, CUBS results, 20 week scan. I had spotting late in pregnancy and needed extra blood tests and anti-d injections. But as one week old DS naps on my shoulder I know it was all worth it. It's easier said than done but try and take it one day at a time.

That’s so true, I can only imagine once I’ve had my scan the worries won’t end there! I haven’t had my booking appointment either yet so the only thing telling me I’m pregnant at the moment is the positive tests! Congratulations on the birth of your son!🙂
