Hi all I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of weeks I've had what I can only describe as fanny pain 🤷‍♀️ at first I thought it was like groin strain but it's not in my groin more feels like I've been kicked right between the legs. It hurts when I walk, roll over in bed, have to get up from a sitting position. My hips ache but I had that with my other pregnancies but this is a new one, I know the obvious is to ask my midwife but unless it's an emergency or a scheduled appointment it's not easy to get hold of her

Sounds like it to me! I had it quite badly in pregnancy 1 and not so badly in pregnancy 2. What helped: women's-health physio (private. NHS were fucking useless), acupuncture. What didn't help: those elastic hip band things, NHS.

Mine was worse in preg 1 between about 22 & 35 weeks then really eased off and didn't cause any issues during labour.

Meant to say, if you can afford it just get in to see a women's-health private physio as soon as you can - don't wait for your midwife. If you're in/near London the 'Six Physio' chain are v good. One of their women's-heath specialists helped me massively. Absolutely worth the expense, if you can manage it.
