Pressure

I am 15+5 with twins. For the last week or so I have had intense pressure really low down. It is fine when I am sitting down but really painful when standing up, and is making walking difficult.
Is this normal? I am seeing my consultant next thursday so will ask her too!

@Robs20 call your midwife and let her know as soon as you can, just to make sure nothing serious. You're carrying twins also so it could be something related to, but always ask, don't wait a whole week to ask your doctors.

@R2D2abc oh really....could it be something bad? I am actually abroad until Monday so not sure what to do :(

Its probably just the babies pressing against your pelvis. More than likely all is fine. Even if you are abroad you could give your midwife a call tomorrow just for some reassurance. If the midwife has concerns then they can book you in for an appointment as soon as you get back :)

I had similar around 18 weeks (single pregnancy though). It continued to get worse and actually turned out to be SPS.

Sorry SPD - can’t work out how to edit my earlier post!
