Hello I’m nearly 23 weeks and hasn’t felt my baby boy kicking or moving properly yet. He moves a little a couple of times a day but that’s it, other people my current amount of weeks are feeling hard kicks and movements should I be worried as it’s my first and don’t know what’s happening.
Might help you if I said the scanographer said my placenta is front facing but I thought it might of moved by now 🙁

I'm in the same boat as you. I have an anterior placenta too so didn't start to feel any kind of movement until 20 weeks. I'm currently 25w and I think she gets stronger as the days go by as the kicks and movements have increased a lot. I'm sure it will come for you soon as well

Also when you said you thought it would have moved by now, did you mean the placenta? Because I don't think your placenta would move that much and will stay anterior (front facing) throughout your pregnancy (I might be wrong!) - I know I was told I had anterior placenta at a 16w scan and so far that's where it has stayed x

I'm 36 weeks with an anterior placenta and I'm only just feeling proper kicks. It is usually to the side and under my ribs. Previous to that I would feel a pushing sensation behind the placenta which my midwife assured me was movements. It is difficult with an anterior placenta because when the baby is small they kind of hide behind it. As pp said the movements will get stronger and more recognisable as your pregnancy progresses

I'm 25 weeks with anterior placenta and still just feeling pulsing more than actual kicks, about 4-5 times a day. DH still can't really feel it at all. I was about 21-22 weeks when I felt something I knew for sure was baby. Feeling pretty frustrated that it's not as strong as other people say.

After I’ve posted this. He’s started to move and kick loads😮 I’ve actually seen him kicking and moving, it’s like he knew I was worried! Thanks for the support you guys made me feel more at ease 🥰 so glad I wasn’t the only one going through this
