Would anyone advise getting one for labour or is it not worth it?

Definitely useful, you should be able to rent it from various places, eg hospital, pharmacy, maternity shops.

Amazon have great rental services for Tens. Birth Ease is the provider I use

I used it with both labour's. Worked to a limited effect..not sure how much it reduced pain till took it off then noticed difference! . it was also a good distraction..

I hired one from the pharmacy in Tesco. I’m not sure exactly how much it helped (I feel like it was doing something at the time) but I think using the different button and settings/adjusting it was a distraction and something to focus on other than the pain.

I wouldn't bother buying one. I didn't find it helped much with the pain but was a bit of a distraction. I rented one for about ,£10 which was worth it.

I’d say worth having one but agree perhaps rent, borrow or buy one second hand (obv get new sticky pads). It really really helped me.

I found mine really helpful in early labour; it allowed me to doze a bit through contractions. I just left it on boost the whole time, though - I found it counterproductive to have to press the button each time a contraction started, as then I couldn’t just relax and tune out.
I bought mine from Boots for about 60 quid, I think - I’ve used it for two labours, plan to use it again for my third next year, and have lent it to several people, so a good investment.

I LOVE mine. I borrowed it first time round then bought one for second + times. It was a total lifesaver. If n thing else, it is great to have something to focus on.
