Anti sickness tablets

I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant and have struggled along with severe sickness since 5 weeks and I can't take it anymore I've been pretty much housebound with it, unable to work or do much at all around the house. I'm sick probably 3-5 times a day but constantly nauseous.

I'm going to see my GP today to ask for some anti sickness tablets, I did see him when I was 6 weeks but we decided together I would not take anti sickness tablets at that point but I don't feel I can cope anymore. Me and DH move house on Saturday and I don't know how I'm going to cope!

What anti sickness tablets do/did you take? And how long did it take for them to help?

Hiya, there is a hyperemis support thread on here. Ask on there you will get loads of advice! Sorry you are having such a hard time with it x

I'm on cyclizine and pro chlorpromazine maleate they do help I still have bad days

@chocolate26 I've been suffering hyperemesis since week 5 and still on anti sickness now at 22 weeks. I was first given cyclizine but didn't work so from week 6 I was on ondansatron and then still no good so week 9 they added metoclopromide to take with the ondansatron. That still didn't stop the vomiting and constant nausea so I was given iv anti sickness and steroids etc. I really hope you get some help but please do come along on the hyperemesis support page.

I'm on a combination of ondanestron and cyclizine now (at 25 weeks). Hope the GP can prescribe you something!
