Anterior Placenta

This is probably going to sound a bit dumb, but any advice or experience is appreciated.

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and have an anterior placenta which a 1st for me, for the past few weeks I've been really sore across my lower stomach. It doesn't feel like stretching more like stinging and as if my womb has been crushed like a ball of paper and is slowly uncurling.

Is this pain possibly because of the position of the placenta or is it possible that as my DD is only 11 months my womb is still slightly sore internally because of the last pregnancy. Hope I'm making sense 🙈

I have an anterior placentor and I'm 23 plus 3. I've not experienced this maybe speak to your midwife?

I dont think it would be to do with the position of the placenta, it shouldnt cause pain where ever it is. I would contact your midwife.

I had anterior placentas in 2 pregnancies, and I never experienced any pain like you’re describing.

I’d speak to a midwife about it, they’re going to be the best people to offer advice about this if any is needed,
