Bleeding and cramps

Hi all,
New on here today but in desperate need of some help from people who have gone through this before. 3 days ago I started getting cramps and bleeding. We had an early scan today and the nurse said it’s either too early and the baby is only 4-5 weeks (last period was 7 weeks ago) or it’s stopped developing. I have to go for another scan in 2 weeks time. This is torture and I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and gone on to have a healthy baby? This is my first time and I feel so alone and distressed by it all. Thank you in advance.

Not quite the same but I have been having bad cramps and had a private scan. They saw both sacs and a fetal pole on the embryo but no heart beat. I am having a scan on Thursday to see if I'm just a lot later than they thought or if the baby has stopped developing.

What did they see on the scan?

I called my gp who then referred me to the epu? I will have waited a week instead of two which the private place told me to do.

Completely sympathise, it's torture. The only way my husband and I have managed to work through it is that if the baby has stopped growing, it's because my body is rejecting it due to an issue (chromosomal etc).
