Squashed bump during sex?

Hi. Me and my partner had sex last night. My partner is heavy in weight and as he was on top we may have gotten carried away for a second until I got really paranoid his weight was squashing baby. I haven't felt any movement yet but hopefully baby just sleeping? I'm 24 weeks. Please put my mind at rest!

Do you usually feel movement? Have a lie down on your side and have something cold to drink.. Baby is well cushioned inside though so you wouldn't of harmed the baby.

@amyruth93 - I would suggest have a drink of some fizzy juice, along with a little sugary snack and then go have a lie down on your left side as this is usually what the midwife would recommend you do to see if you get any movement or are worried you haven't felt baby for a while.

Does your baby have regular movement patterns? Ie my baby mostly does her movements at night - so if I don't feel her by 10pm, I usually do the above and then I get the kicks!

But - if you are really worried please don't take any chances, phone your local maternity assessment and get in to get seen x

Any change in movement (reduction or increase) from usual should be checked out by your midwife saferpregnancy.org.uk/questions-and-advice-in-pregnancy/change-baby-moving
