Hi MN, I’m 37 weeks and my daughter is back to back. My first daughter was also back to back but I had no idea until she came out facing upwards! Reading about it now though all the signs were there - start stop labour, no break between contractions, waters breaking before contractions, I ended up induced with the drip as never went into established labour on my own. Had an episiotomy. Her actual labour was 8 hrs once it got going, but with 1.5 hrs pushing. I did everything you were supposed to whilst pregnant, sitting on ball a lot, loads of yoga on all fours, I think in reflection she was in that position for weeks. Consultant told me this one is also back to back last week, I googled (stupidly) and am now worried about possible complications! I’m trying to avoid sofa sitting (but exhausting to not be able to relax as I look after my toddler all day), using ball a lot, on all fours but not getting hopes up as it didn’t do anything last time. I’m worried she will get stuck after what I read, does anybody have any stories of birthing multiple back to back babies? She is smaller than my last - I have gd so growth scans every other week, DD1 born 8lb1 on 60th centile at 40+5 (also gd baby), this one following 30th.
