Headaches

Hi all, just found out I'm pregnant and been dealing with headaches the last few days. Making an appointment with the GP tomorrow to find out how far along I am etc.
Is it normal for headaches at the start also spotting ?
first time mum here so no idea.

Yes, headaches are definitely a thing. I'm afraid they're also normal in the second and third trimesters (NB severe headache post 20 weeks and you should get checked for pre-eclampsia).

If you have suddenly cut out caffeine or nicotine it could be related to that. Otherwise make sure you're drinking and sleeping enough, and have a paracetamol (not ibuprofen) if you're desperate.

Thank you, for the info :) I was hoping it wasn't a thing 🤣 ... gonna drink plenty of water and work on the sleep. Lately my mind is in over drive since finding out its hard to sleep.
