Weird bump - help?

Hi all

Sorry for tmi, this was post sex with DH. The lump is babys head and it was even more pronounced before I took the photo.

The whole bump was really hard and not had anything quite like it before.

Have felt him move since but not as much as I would like. Am currently sat down with some icy water and a snack as have been on the move a bit this morning but am panicking slightly.

Before I call the midwives just wanted to gauge other peoples experiences/thoughts?

Will be 29 weeks tomorrow.

Had that from time to time, baby moves around and stays in different positions. You'll notice them more as you lie in bed. Hopefully baby will soon turn head down and you won't have this bump shape anymore.

My 3rd used to push her foot just under my ribs, you could visibly see it, it looked weird but I loved to touch it and cuddle her foot.

I had this with my first, you could see her foot or head weirdly protruding out of my belly! I never really thought anything of it, she had clearly just moved - maybe being jigged around during sex jostled baby into an odd position Grin

I’d be more concerned if you think you’ve got reduced movement - get yourself checked if at all concerned!

Looks like baby has just got into a comfortable position whilst you were having fun. Baby should move back to normal soon but please call if you're concerned.

My baby always sticks out like that either end of my belly button. It's her bum as she's head down for me. Get used to the crazy belly shapes they only get bigger as baby does.

In previous pregnancy I used to get Braxton hicks a lot after sex which sounds like wha u might be experiencing with the hard bump.

I'd only call if u are actually having reduced movements.

Definite braxton hicks! Please try not to worry, I'm guessing it resolved within 5 mins and baby moving normally?

I get BH anything from 10-30 times a day, and of course after sex too.... Same with last pregnancy... So very familiar with the weird sensation

Thanks so much! I did wonder if it was braxton hicks, it went back to normal but it was just so strange!

Movements have been all over the place today and I think I was just hyper aware since this weird bump this morning and worrying something was wrong.

Can never stop myself thinking the worst when there is one strange symptom.

Thanks again Smile
