Botox for medical reasons

I was wondering if anyone has Botox for medical reasons, and whether you had to stop this when pregnant? I am very early days and know my consultant outside of work, so don't want to have to ask him directly yet!

I am a doctor who carries out Botox injections for medical reasons and where I work we do not inject people who are pregnant.

Incidentally I gave myself a needlestick injury when I was pregnant and when I contacted the drug company they said they couldn't give me any advice as they just don't have data on the effects of Botox on the developing fetus.

I hope that helps.

Thank you @keeponrunning85 that's really helpful. I think I have an appt in December for a repeat as the current shot is now wearing off. Hopefully it won't wear off too quickly!
