This is my first pregnancy (also twins) and I am worrying about every little thing Blush

For a couple of weeks I've occasionally had thick, stretchy discharge like in the picture. Today I realised this may be bits of my mucus plug? I did sometimes have the same kind of discharge before I was pregnant so I'm not sure... I've also seen mucus plug described as like packaging glue in consistency, whereas this is loosely stretchy like egg white cm. I'm 24 weeks. Does it sound like I should be worrying?

This is normal discharge, the mucus plug will have blood in and would be a lot more than that. Hope this helps, x

Call the maternity unit rather than relying on random internet strangers.

In both my pregnancies the mucus plug had no blood in it whatsoever when it came out.

Thanks both. I am seen on the fetal health unit every week so will ask next time anyway, but wouldnt like to bother them in between unless it seemed really necessary. I'd be ringing them every day if I called each time I got worried about something Blush

Looks like normal discharge to me. My plug had blood in it.
