Hello, I'm really new to mumsnet and really I just wanted to have a bit of reassurance that someone is feeling as rubbish as I am and have been 😩
I have had sickness from 6 weeks pregnant I'm currently 17 weeks and still being sick. I have had awful headaches despite drinking gallons of water and now I have the worst cold and flu symptoms.

I am so blessed to be pregnant I feel like all I do is moan but it is so worrying and scary I can't help but think somethings wrong every time I feel a little rubbish. Does anyone also have any tips for stuffy nose? It only seems to come on at night time.

Thank you xxx

Not pregnant at the moment but feel your pain. It honestly does get so much better, morning sickness should be wearing off now.
If it’s really bad In that you can’t keep food down due to sickness, I’d make an appointment with GP to maybe get some anti sickness drugs. Congratulations on baby. Xx

@Littlepeak34 thank you so much. I actually saw my midwife this week and she recommended that I go to my gp to get help with the sickness so I'll definitely be doing that.
Just really hope I start to feel better soon so I can enjoy being pregnant 🥺
And thank you xxx

You have all my sympathies with the sickness, a HG sufferer here. It’s miserable! Have you considered any anti-sickness?

Re- your stuffy nose - a few tips from my doctor recently (I get something called pregnancy rhinitis where I can’t breathe through my nose constantly!):

A steroid nasal spray - one you use for heyfever. Over the counter.
Sterimar Nasal Spray - salt water spray, in Boots on the shelves. So good at clearing your nose!
A cool water humidifier - not cheap, we happened to have one for our daughter and it’s a godsend. Keeps your nose clear overnight for me! You can get one in Argos or Amazon.

All 3 combined are really helping!
