Hi, all very new to posting on threads but read a lot on this site following our 13 week nuchal measurement scare!!
Basically had the scare and had the CVS test and all results have come back clear also had a detailed heart scan in London at 16 weeks and at that stage all looked fine!
I now have the fear of something being wrong at the 20 week scan we have in a couple of weeks we also have another detailed heart scan booked in
Has anyone had this too and please could you post your outcomes as would really like to get prepared if there is an issue what it could possibly be, I know there is a lot and all could be fine but my brain just won’t switch off as last couple of weeks since the CVS enjoying being pregnant and telling people but now the fear is setting in for 20 weeks
Sorry for the waffling, hope it all makes sense

That sounds really hard. If you want some really knowledgeable support this might be worth looking at www.walkingwithyou.org.uk

What is this service please? As at the moment I don’t know if anything is wrong I’m just intrigued what has been the outcome with people in a similar position

@Chumpie30 I'm not in the same boat as you, but I am having extra scans and my first fetal heart scan at St. George's on Monday. I'm just under 16 weeks and will have my 20week scan just before Christmas. Having had a MC in April, scans etc are a little scary, now I have to be monitored because my body can send antibodies to the baby that run a small risk of damaging its heart. It's such a scary time isn't it, I'm not sure if I will ever get to the being relaxed stage whilst pregnant.
I'm trying to look at the extra monitoring as the medical profession taking good care, but it's hard to do!

@Kayjay2018 keeping everything crossed for you and your scans, I know it’s hard and I was the worst for it but stay positive stressing doesn’t do any good for you or the baby
But like you we had a MC in April and look at the extra scans as all positive just hate the time it takes especially when everyone around me is having ‘normal’ pregnancies it’s so hard but I’m trying my best to stay positive

I’ve had the cvs after raised Nuchal, 2 heart scans, 20 week scan and a few others and baby seems to be absolutely fine. I’m 34 weeks now.
Obviously don’t 100% know until baby is here but I’m cautiously confident baby is okay.
