TMI PIC mucus plug?

Today I had a stretch and sweep, thought I felt something trickle out (I thought at first it could be a trickle of water) went to the loo and this was in my knickers😳 is this my mucus plug? Could it mean things are finally happening or nothing to get excited about? Sorry I know the pic is gross

I've started having a lot of cramping too in stomach and back, no tightenings and no pattern so definitely not contractions
