I’m 7 weeks 6 days and 2 days ago I started bleeding, started off brown and now heavy bright red with cramps, I had a scan this morning and it showed a sack but nothing obvious inside, there were no obvious signs of ectopic pregnancy and my cervix was closed, this afternoon I passed what we thought was a yolk sized clot as I had a wee so not 100% sure how big, early pregnancy ward have been totally useless and told me to keep an eye on it, just after your experiences in this as it’s my first pregnancy and I’m fearing the worst

Laurlaur11 hi, really sorry your having to go through this and with very little support from the NHS, so at 7 weeks they can't normally see anything but a sac which is a good sign, however if your having heavy bleeding with clotting It's not great, I would advice you to go to A&E or the emergency maternity unit and ask to be given answers as it's not fair you have to wait to find out what is going on. Wishing you all the best, try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done but you will be fine x

Thankyou salina2, we are currently at hospital now after the cramps got unbearable, Iv had blood tests and urine tests and an internal examination, they can see that I have a bleed they just can’t see where it’s coming from as apparently my uterus is closed so it’s not coming from there?x

Laurlaur11 hope your feeling better? Good to know the bleed is not from the uterus but did they manage to find out we're it was coming from? At least you are able to get answers at the hospital and know exactly what is going on, hopefully it is just something that can be treated or go away itself so you can continue your pregnancy feeling more excited than worried Thanks
