Hi all.

I got a positive test yesterday (woohoo!) and did a clear blue digital one which said 1-2 weeks, so according to their leaflet I’m about 4ish weeks pregnant.

I’ve got PCOS and my last period was in August this year, so I’m wondering how the midwifes will date me for the referral for a scan? As if they go by my LMP I’d be 12w+ which I am definitely not.

Thanks in advance!

They do usually go from LMP but just explain about the pcos and that you had 1-2 weeks on clearblue, they might put you in for a scan anyway just to get an accurate(ish) due date

They won't take into account you having pcos they will just go from your Lmp. They have to until your dating scan. From my lmp when I found out I was pg I was technically 14wks (have pcos too) I knew I wasn't that far and the midwife even agreed with me but said they have to go from lmp anyway. I was 9week at my 'dating scan' just got booked in again a few weeks later x
