Mince pies

I feel I'm being ridiculous, but I have been so good avoiding any alcohol etc I want to check opinions. I bought mince pies today for dessert and they have brandy in (didn't bother to check when I bought!). Would this bother you? Does it count as alcohol? I'm 38+4.

Does it say how much brandy? It’s probably minuscule - I’d eat one no bother but then I love mince pies.

I think you can assume that if a child could also buy them they are probably fine.

My midwife told me at about 38 weeks to have a glass of wine and a bath (which I did, after all it was medical advice Grin), at 38 weeks I think the risks are minimal.

It doesn't say how much but it is quite near the top of ingredients and near the bottom is 14% butter but less than 50%. I'm sure they are fine, just having a last minute doubts. The "can a child buy" is a good indication. Although just as a side note mum said it flags for ID at the till for Xmas puds in Waitrose Shock

The amount of booze left in a cooked mince pie would be absolutely negligible. Enjoy it!
