Hi,

Wonder if anyone's had the same and knows how to help?

12 weeks pregnant and have headaches every single day. I know we can take paracetamol but I don't want to take this every day!

Anyone got any advise or tips on how to help please

Just paracetamol works for me (unfortunately)... I suffer from migraines, and have had a couple of bad flair ups during current pregnancy (almost 16 weeks now)- alongside very regular headaches.

As long as I don't exceed the dose I feel ok taking them regularly- but understand not wanting to take them all the time!

I was advised that I could try aspirin on a low dose now I'm in the second trimester, but this didn't work and I'm wary of trying a higher dose as I was told at the start of my pregnancy to steer clear of aspirin/ibuprofen... (conflicting GP advice- yay!)

I'd give your midwife/ GP a call if they're really bad- they may want to keep an eye on it (I was told this at my last mw appt).

One thing I can recommend- I sleep wearing an eye mask which helps at night xx

Paracetamol is safe in pregnancy. I was the same didn't want to take it daily and mentioned this to midwife and she's said its perfectly fine and to have is as much as I need it even if that means everyday.

You should get your BP checked though as that can cause headache but it probably is just hormes etc I had alot of bad headache early pregnancy x
