My DP has just been told he will have to attend a course 140 miles from home, 2 days before my due date.

Unfortunately this isn't negotiable due to this being a 6 part course over 6 months leading onto a promotion and large salary increase.

We moved away from family for his work so our closest family member is around 50 minutes away without traffic.

I know labour is unpredictable but what is the likelihood of me going into labour that couple of days early? I do not want to do this alone!

The chance for that specific date is fairly low - around 4%. But the chance of the baby coming at some point within a week of the due date is about 60% - they may well already be born by then. So either way it would be good to have a plan in place for what to do if you go into labour or have just given birth...
