I have a horrid bug, cold, chesty cough, fever, painful throat, sinuses and my ears my god they hurt, I feel rotten. I'm normally one to tough it out but this has totally floored me. Given I'm 25 weeks with a wheezy cough and feel so terrible I have tried to call the gp only to be told to call back first thing next morning. Any advice?

Sounds like a virus. Nothing the doctor can do anyway. Crawl into bed with hot honey and lemon and sleep.

It might be worth phoning 111? They might be able to get you in at the Dr's or a walk in centre? Just thinking with you beimg pregnant and with a cough could be a chest infection.
Hope you feel better soon.

I'd speak to a pharmacist in the mean time as they can help as much as a gp can (although they can't prescribe anything) you may need antibiotics so I would still go see go tomorrow x

I found when pregnant, things like this felt so much worse than when not pregnant! I second just crawling into bed with drinks and resting. Hope u feel better soon

If only, I have a toddler to look after! It's the chest infection I am concerned about, if indeed there is one.

Speak to your midwife. They might be able to get you seen or advise you

Walk in centre, they'll probably see you quite quick because of pregnancy and symptoms.

Ring 111, they have access to more appointments
