Good morning everyone ,
I am a mother of one gorgeous 6yr old and my boyfriend has two children from a previous relationship. And says he doesn't want anymore children. Plus, I'm looking to get back in to the world of employment as I've had a few years to look after my child.

Anyways I was 10 days late for my period, and I am never late. But this month I have had a lot of stress going on so I put it down to that.

I did a test yesterday and it was positive. I've done a test and it was positive. Should I tell my boyfriend or wait until it's been confirmed?

I don't know what to do cos this is kind of a very big deal for us. It might even break us up and he really doesn't want any more children.

Any advice ? - please don't be nasty x

10 days late and a positive pregnancy test is fairly clear to me that your pregnant. Are you talking about waiting for blood tests?

Its up to you when you tell him, but I think you defo need too

Sounds very likely you are pregnant. I would talk your BF sooner rather than later. It would be best to to be open and up front from the start.

I'm going to the doctors on Friday. So was going to wait until then...

Tbh I am in shock myself as I honestly didn't think I could get pregnant as I've put on a lot of weight since I had my daughter 6years ago

I'm scared x

You can still get pregnant even if you have put weight on and with positive tests you are pregnant. As pp has said I would be upfront and tell him now no point keeping it to yourself the GP isn't going to tell you anything different than you already know x

I agree, gp's no longer confirm pregnancy unless you have complicated medical history
Positive tests and at 10 days late i bet they are pretty glaring line, no squinters! You are pregnant
You need to tell him, it may take him time to come to terms with it. But it's happened
Where you using birth control?
