Early induction SGA

Just looking for reassurance. I'm going to be induced possibly as early as 35 weeks due to static growth.
All I want is my baby girl here safely.
Any mums of healthy premature babies?
I'm trying not to worry myself sick.

Not so early as you, but have been induced at 36+4, she was born at 37( there was no place to move me from induction ward to a labour suite to break my waters). My daughter was a bit heavier than measures on growth scans, 2930 grams. She did well, had quite severe jaundice after few days and difficulty to breastfeed( we ended up expressing to top up), but she was with me and no need for NICU.

Hope it helps!

My DD was due to be induced at 37 due to static abdominal growth , after a sweep I went into labour naturally.
They toyed with induction a few weeks earlier but wanted to push it as far as possible. I was heavily monitored, and actually had been high risk of preterm labour due to cervical shortening so was on progesterone.

She was fit and well at 37 weeks and is now 11 weeks old, she’s dinky on the 0.04 centile 🙈🙈 but my first was only 2nd centile so it was to be expected.

What centile are you at the moment? Have you had Dopplers done? Is there a reason for static growth (placenta or cord?). There was no reason for mine, it happened with my first as well so was to be expected really. When will you find out?

Also for reassurance my friend is the mother of a 27 weeker, he’s a perfectly healthy strapping five year old!

There's no obvious reasons. She's below the 5th (I think)
All Dopplers show no concern with placenta or chord so I'm confused. I do know that due to having OC they may just be keen to induce because of that.

I just want to hold this baby ❤️

@maternity123qwe can I ask what baby weighed to be on 0.04 centile? Just out of curiosity as my baby has dropped from 50th to 20thand have next scan tomorow x

My son was born at 36 weeks by c section, he was in NICU for 2 days because of breathing difficulties and severe jaundice and SCBU for 3 to continue his light therapy & also because he was a lazy feeder, tbh if he hadn’t refused to feed he would of been out of SCBU after 1 day. He is however now a very healthy 5 month old and you’d never know how everything started off. Hope everything goes well for you
